The Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix Final took place tonight in Los Angeles, as Fedor Emelianenko squared off with Ryan Bader at Bellator 214. The former PRIDE champion, Fedor Emelianenko, advanced to the tournament final by defeating Chael Sonnen via first-round TKO this past October in New York.

Former WWE star Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) made his professional mixed martial arts debut against J.W. Kiser at tonight’s Bellator 214 event. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Hager, announced that he had signed a fight contract with Bellator MMA back in November of 2017.
Darren Till takes aim at multiple welterweights including Rafael dos Anjos

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till recently took to Twitter where he called out former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, among others. Till, who is set to fight Jorge Masvidal on March 16 at UFC London, called both Rafael dos Anjos and Santiago Ponzinibbio “scared rats” on Twitter.

WWE champion Daniel Bryan believes he could submit UFC flyweight champ Henry Cejudo faster than “The Messenger” finished TJ Dillashaw. Earlier today in an interview ABC 15 Sports, Daniel Bryan seemingly warned Cejudo to stay away from his sister-in-law Nikki Bella.

Earlier this week, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov discussed the upcoming UFC debut of former Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight titleholder Ben Askren. “He never fight in the UFC,” Nurmagomedov told Submission Radio of Askren. “He has to fight in the UFC first of all. He has to show his levels because I see how someone smash him in ONE FC. Somebody like smashed him in ONE FC. He just signed to the UFC and tried talk, you know. But now everybody tries to talk and promote these things, but you have to compete in the UFC, then we’re gonna see his levels.”

Ronda Rousey has responded to the recent rumors that she will be leaving the WWE after Wrestlemania in order to start a family. According to the reports, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Rousey, was going to put Becky Lynch over at Wrestlemania so that she could step away from the WWE in order to start a family with her husband Travis Browne.

After more than a decade of dominance, UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg’s reign came to a shocking end at UFC 232, when she was knocked out by reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes in just over a minute. In the opinion of former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, Cyborg’s shocking loss to Amanda Nunes can be attributed to the fact that she didn’t stick to her strategy. That being said, Tate feels Cyborg has never really needed a strategy before, so she can’t exactly be faulted for that mistake.
