UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold‘s confidence is at an all time high heading into UFC 199 this Saturday in Inglewood California. The middleweight champ has stated repeatedly that he believes he is on another level in comparison to his middleweight peers.
Ahead of his rematch with Michael Bisping, Rockhold spoke after open workouts to explain why he believes no one can match his skill set on the pound-for-pound ladder.
MMAWeekly has the quotes:
“He’s an annoying guy. If you let him get into your head, he can get to a lot of guys. I just keep my composure,” said Rockhold at the event’s media workouts. “I’m going to open him up, I’m going to find my opening, and then I’m going to make my kill.”
“There’s nobody that has the skillset that I have. I can beat you grappling. I can beat you wrestling. I can beat you stand up, and I’m going to threaten you in all of those areas,” he said. “There’s nobody pound-for-pound that has what I have.”
“I know what I’m going to do. I know what I’m capable of,” he said. “I know how good I am. I know what I’m capable of, and I pretty much know how it’s going to finish… I’m excited to beat up Bisping.”
Do you think he’ll be able to defeat Michael Bisping once again on Saturday?
