UFC Vegas 114 Results: Kevin Vallejos stops Josh Emmett in Round 1 (Video)

We have you covered for all of tonight’s UFC Vegas 114 results, including the featherweight main event between Kevin Vallejos and Josh Emmett.

Emmett (19-7 MMA), a former interim featherweight title challenger, will enter this evening’s main event with hopes of snapping a two-fight losing skid. The 41-year-old veteran is coming off losses to Lerone Murphy and Youssef Zalal in his most recent Octagon appearances. Prior to those setbacks, the Team Alpha Male standout had earned a brutal first-round knockout victory over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296 (see that here).

Meanwhile, Kevin Vallejos (18-1 MMA) is currently riding a six-fight winning streak, with his most recent victory coming by way of knockout against Giga Chikadze this past December. ‘El Chino’ suffered his lone career loss back in September of 2023, where he dropped a decision to current featherweight contender Jean Silva.

Round one of the UFC Vegas 114 main event begins and Kevin Vallejos quickly takes the center of the Octagon. Josh Emmett circles along the cage. He throws out a jab that falls short. ‘El Chino’ with a kick to the body that lands. Emmett rushes in with wild left hand that misses the mark. Vallejos with a nice 1-2. He lands a good calf kick. An uppercut sneaks through as well. Emmett circles and then comes forward with a high kick. Kevin Vallejos avoids and answers with a good combination. A hard low kick now from the youngster. Josh Emmett looks to get inside, but Kevin pelts him with a three-punch combination. A big exchange. Vallejos lands a big hook that drops Emmett to the floor. Some big follow up shots from the budding prospect. Emmett gets to his feet. But another barrage of knees and punches sends him to the canvas for good. WOW! This kid is a beast!
