VIDEO | UFC Hall of Famer Says He Would Have Protected Kim Kardashian From Robbers

By Tom Taylor - October 21, 2016

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Hollywood megastar Kim Kardashian had been bound, gagged and robbed in a Paris hotel room.

In the wake of the incident, a representative for Kardashian told E! News that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was “badly shaken but physically unharmed.” Unfortunately, however, it was also confirmed that Kardashian lost something in the area of $11 million worth of jewelry during the incident, as her assailants made off with a ring with an estimated value of $4.9 million, and jewelry box worth an estimated $5.6 million.

Earlier this week, we got our first glimpses at Kim K’s burglars, as street camera footage of their escape from her apartment complex has surfaced on the Internet. In this footage, the five Paris thieves involved in the incident can be seen escaping on foot and on bicycles.

At the moment, police do not seem to have any leads as to the identities of these criminals. Yet given the size of their booty (sorry, we had to), the search for these perpetrators is surely far from over. With a little luck, they’ll be caught in the near future.

In a perfect world, of course, this incident never would have happened. In a recent interview with TMZ, UFC Hall-of-Famer Ken Shamrock assured that, had he been serving as Kim’s security that night, this would have been the case.

“If I was there, I would not have left the hotel,” Shamrock claimed in his interview with TMZ. “I would have been in the lobby or somewhere in the hallway, and when the confrontation happened they would have never gotten in the room.”

See that interview below:

Shamrock, who is now 52 years old, was last seen in the Bellator cage earlier this year when succumbed to a first-round TKO at the hands of fellow MMA legend Royce Gracie. In the wake of this fight, it was announced that Shamrock had failed a pre-fight drug test. Prior to this ugly fight with Gracie, Shamrock succumbed to another TKO loss at the hands of late MMA star Kimbo Slice.

Shamrock’s overall record currently stands at 28-17-2. In the past, he has served as security for stars like 50 Cent, Fergie and Kristin Cavallari.
