Jiri Prochazka sends cold message to post-UFC 327 ‘hyenas’ as he announces birth of firstborn daughter

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka plans to turn his attention from his newborn daughter to his critics after UFC 327.

Jiri Prochazka’s quest to become the UFC’s latest two-time light heavyweight champion fell short of the mark against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 last weekend in Miami. Despite battering Ulberg’s leg just minutes into the fight, Prochazka’s activity stalled, as Ulberg went on to rally and earn a miraculous first-round knockout victory.

Since UFC 327, Prochazka has been criticized by coaches, fighters, and fans for ‘blowing it’ against Ulberg in the vacant light heavyweight title fight. Prochazka’s post-fight claims that he showed ‘mercy’ towards Ulberg after noticing his injured leg mid-fight remain a topic of contention.

As Prochazka picks up the pieces and plots his Octagon comeback, he and his partner welcome their firstborn daughter into the world just hours after UFC 327. But Prochazka’s seen most of the criticism after the Ulberg fight, and took the time to address both topics in a single post.

In a recent post to X, Prochazka announced the birth of his firstborn daughter, along with a message for his recent critics.

“GOD BLESS. PURE, PURE POWER of love to the new born Eleonora, the firstborn daughter and her mother who today showed immense strength that I never knew she had,” Prochazka said.

“Second: Till the end of this week I’ll do some comment for the b******** I see her in social about my last fight, other hyenas around, and next step. Main point in fight and also in life. Stay true to what you believe in, and be ready to FIGHT FOR IT and SACRIFICE WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO.

“THIS FOR SURE WAS MY TITLE FIGHT OF LIFE AND I FEEL LIKE A CHAMPION,” Prochazka concluded.

Before UFC 327, Prochazka earned recent wins over Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill. Ulberg isn’t interested in an immediate rematch with Prochazka, as he admitted in fiery post-fight remarks.
