Former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will go to great lengths to get a picture with any of his fans.

Merab Dvalishvili is inarguably one of the biggest fan favorites in the UFC. His exciting style inside the Octagon, combined with his colorful personality, has made Dvalishvili a household name when discussing the sport’s biggest stars.

Dvalishvili continues to work his way back from a freak injury suffered in training in preparation for a potential trilogy fight with bantamweight champion Petr Yan. In the meantime, he’s staying busy outside of the Octagon with various business obligations and his ever-growing presence in content creation.

When Dvalishvili is out in public, he’s usually recognized by avid UFC fans who want to get a picture or merely a short conversation with the former UFC bantamweight champion. The former champ is usually generous with the fans, although he recently went the extra mile to make one fan’s day while on a walk in the city.

Dvalishvili and streamer Stephania Ergemlidze were on a walk when a construction worker recognized him down below. Despite being up multiple floors above the ground, the construction worker was greeted by Dvalishvili, who took a photo with the fan in a wild moment.

UFC CEO Dana White might not be thrilled by Dvalishvili’s latest stunt. While their relationship has substantially improved in recent years, White has been critical previously about some of Dvalishvili’s questionable behavior outside of the Octagon.

Luckily, all parties involved in the above clip walked away happy, and Dvalishvili will look to reclaim the UFC bantamweight title later this year. Despite his injury, it appears Dvalishvili is in good spirits as he plots his comeback.
