Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Gabi Garcia has found a new drive competing in mixed martial arts.
Garcia is scheduled to make her third professional MMA fight at RIZIN 2 on September 25 in Japan. Garcia’s opponent has yet to be named as the promotion is likely trying to find someone who is actually willing to fight her as she looks to improve on her undefeated 2-0 record.
Garcia and Babalu recently said that in time if no more female opponents are willing to fight, they would look at fighting against a man in competition.
