Dana White: Brock Lesnar could be in for a bad night

By bjpenndotcom - June 24, 2016

In the co-main event of UFC 200, former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will make his highly anticipated return to MMA after nearly 5 years to fight Mark Hunt in a highly anticipated matchup.

Given Lesnar’s background as a division 1 All American wrestler, it isn’t a secret that he will look to take the fight to the ground. Mark Hunt on the other hand, an experienced kickboxer, has arguably the most lethal punching power in combat sports.

UFC President Dana White spoke to WhatCulture to discuss why the fight could be bad for Lesnar:

“If Brock doesn’t get this thing to the ground; he’s in for a bad night. He thought Alistair Overeem was a problem? Mark Hunt knocks guys out that have never been knocked out. He goes in there and knocks out Roy Nelson with one of those one-shot walk-away punches. Nobody does that to Roy Nelson.”

It is important to mention that Mark Hunt has shown impressive takedown defense in recent years, most notably in his UFC 180 interim heavyweight title fight against Fabricio Werdum.

What do you think PENN Nation? Will Lesnar be able to take the fight to the ground, or will Hunt stuff takedowns and land bombs? Give us your prediction below!
