Darren Till claims Mike Perry ‘ran’ from fight in BKFC: ‘He’s run away’

Darren Till believes Mike Perry is running away from a fight with him.

Till and Perry have gone at one another for years, while both were in the UFC. Yet, a fight never happened in the Las Vegas-based promotion, and after both exited the UFC, there were talks of a potential boxing match. However, nothing came to fruition, as Perry went to BKFC and became a champion, while Till went to Misfits Boxing.

Till, however, has signed with BKFC, but it comes after Perry is set to return to MMA to face Nate Diaz on the MVP-Netflix card. But the hope for Till is that they can fight in BKFC, as he knows it’s one of the biggest fights to make.

“He’s ran,” Till said to MMAJunkie. “He’s running toward that big dope Nate Diaz on MVP. I’ve come to BKFC and now he’s run away. Him and his manager need to get a grip of themselves. These two. They’re a pair of bums. Sort your shit out and make the fight with me because I’ll rip him to shreds.

I hope he will come back. Honestly, I don’t care about them two mongoloids fighting. A pair of down-and-out bums. Look at them. They’re just slow and old, and their faces are all crusty.”

Darren Till plans to be face of BKFC

Although Till believes Perry has run away from the fight, there is a chance they can fight in BKFC after both of their next bouts.

Till is set to make his BKFC debut in the co-main event of BKFC 90 on May 30 in Birmingham, England, against Aaron Chalmers. The former UFC title challenger has full confidence he will win the bout and be the face of BKFC in short order.

“If I want to be, I’m going to be the face of this bareknuckle in three fights,” Till said. “I don’t make anything of Chalmers. He’s been around the fight game. He’s got a lot of balls on him to fight me and fight the likes of Floyd Mayweather. We just come up with the best-fitted person for me in BKFC, and this was it. I’m going to go out there and do damage and create extreme violence.”

Till enters BKFC with an MMA record of 18-5-1 and last fought in 2022 when he suffered a submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis. He ended up having four boxing fights since his UFC exit, including wins over Luke Rockhold and Darren Stewart.
