Jose Aldo chose to watch porn instead of the Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz fight?

Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo apparently did not care much about the Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz fight at UFC 196. The former pound-for-pound king said he knew what the outcome would be ahead of the fight and chose to watch something more entertaining to him when the fight aired.

According to Bloody Elbow, Aldo did an interview with Sportv and said he opted to watch an adult channel over UFC 196.

“I watch Sexy Hot (a Brazilian porn channel) at night.” Aldo told Sportv on television (transcribed by Bloody Elbow). “It’s not a problem, I really watch it. I already knew that was going to happen. I was just waiting for it. When I knew it happened, I posted on Instagram right away. I knew it was going to happen. I watched the fight later. I said a while ago he would have nothing by the end of the year. Not even his belt.”

Aldo went on to talk about his campaign for his rematch with McGregor over fellow featherweight contender Frankie Edgar, who he also issued a statement to via Instagram.

“How are they going to give it to Frankie Edgar? Edgar is always doing rematches. If you look at his career, he fought one guy three times, then another one twice and another one twice, again. I don’t see how that can put him ahead of me. Especially since I have been a dominant champion for years. Before losing to McGregor, I was the only featherweight champion there ever was. Frankie is a good fighter, I respect him, but he needs to wait for his turn. After I beat McGregor, he can fight me again.”
