Michael Bisping had plenty to say about Canadian MMA legend Georges St-Pierre before their 2017 middleweight title fight, but now that St-Pierre has retired, Bisping has nothing but high praise for him. Speaking on his Believe You Me podcast, Michael Bisping explained that his pre-fight trash talk of St-Pierre was only a means of hyping up their fight, and applauded the Canadian for his approach to the game.

Former UFC interim welterweight champ Colby Covington has recently been engaged in a war of words with upcoming UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith. One of the latest salvos in this verbal conflict came from Smith, who claimed he encountered Covington at a Chicago gym, and that Covington said nothing to him. More specifically, he referred to the welterweight as a “scared cat.”

According to Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz, however, Conor McGregor has not even asked for a rematch — because he’s a broken man and he doesn’t want it.

Undefeated strawweight prospect Maycee Barber is one of the most exciting young fighters on the UFC roster at present. And just like her nickname suggests “The Future” is expecting to accomplish massive things in the coming years. In fact, she plans to realize the same sport-transcending superstardom as Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey — and apparently told UFC President Dana White just that. “I told him that I was gonna be as big, if not bigger than Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey and all of the stars he has,” The 20-year-old told MMA Fighting. “And I am one of his next big stars. There aren’t very many right now, especially females. And I fit that perfectly. Just in terms of the person I want to portray in terms of the sport, I feel like I could fill that.”
UFC 236 fight card already coming together with 7 confirmed bouts

UFC 236, which goes down on April 13 inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, is already coming together nicely. Earlier this month, we learned that the card will feature an interim middleweight title fight between top contenders Kelvin Gastelum and Israel Adesanya, and this weekend, we learned that it will also include an interim lightweight title fight between streaking contender Dustin Poirier and reigning featherweight champ Max Holloway. If things go according to plan, it will be the first card in UFC history to feature two interim title fights.

The main event of the card was a battle between two top light heavyweights, where the winner could get the next title shot. Ultimately, Thiago Santos beat Jan Blachowicz by TKO in the third round to improve to 3-0 at light heavyweight. Now, the question is, did Santos do enough to get the next title shot?
Trio of bouts added to UFC 237 in Brazil

Originally scheduled for Curitiba, UFC 237 has been moved to Rio De Janeiro. Therefore the festivities will still be going down in the country of Brazil. With only three bouts known of for the event prior to this weekend, we now know three more.

Instead, I went against somebody who had 10 years more experience than myself. And it was just at that point, I wasn’t willing to say no for an opportunity to fight so I took it and somehow managed to come out with the win.
