UFC 203 is the first time the Octagon has headed to Cleveland, Ohio. The event, which is headlined by a heavyweight scrap between Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem for the heavyweight title, will serve as a hometown event for heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
Unfortunately, things weren’t going so well for several of the fighters Friday evening when they found themselves trapped in an elevator at the Jack Cleveland Casino.
The video was captured and uploaded to Instagram by Urijah Faber, who fights #12 ranked bantamweight Jimmie Rivera on the main card of the highly anticipated event.
The incident in the video is the same one that caused CB Dolloway to injure his back and ultimately withdraw from his UFC 203 bout with Francimar Barroso just one day before the event.
In the video above you can see Urijah Faber, CB Dollaway, Fabricio Werdum, and several other fighters trapped on the elevator. Fortunately, a report emerged following the situation revealing that no one in the elevator sustained serious injuries that would result in them having to withdraw from their UFC 203 bout besides CB Dolloway. This article appeared first on BJPENN.COM
