If you saw UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal and their exchanges backstage leading up to UFC 217, you would think that the two were meeting in the Octagon on Saturday night. However, this isn’t the case as Bisping is set to take on former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the main event of the evening while Masvidal will look to establish himself as one of the next welterweight title contenders as he meets Stephen Thompson in the Octagon.
While Bisping and Masvidal have their opponents set for Saturday, the two have been going at it with each other as we saw them have to be separated as they were jawing at each other on Wednesday.
Masvidal released video of another incident between the two as they crossed paths where it looks like Bisping was working on a photo shoot while Masvidal was on his way to get a workout in. The end of the video cuts to a promo for Masvidal’s documentary that has yet to be released.
Masvidal, who used to fight at lightweight is no stranger to scrapping bigger opponents. Video of his old school backyard street fights under the legendary Kimbo Slice have been viewed over a million times.
