Mark Hunt, UFC Auckland

Mark Hunt is set to face off the super freak athlete Brock Lesnar at UFC 200.

Although Hunt’s physique may not be as daunting as Lesnar’s, he shows in this strength competition that size and physique do not matter when you have “Super Samoan” strength.

Hunt was a competitor in a Japanese game show tug-of-war contest some years ago and went up against MMA fighter and former NFL player and professional wrestler, Bob Sapp, as well as a World’s Strongest Man competitor and puts them all in the pit quite easily.

Hunt, being a large man was still outsized by his competition, especially by Sapp who is 6’5 and weighs well over 300 pounds.

Obviously, tug-of-war is different from fighting, but it just goes to show that Mark Hunt is no slouch in the strength department. Will his strength and technique be enough to keep Brock Lesnar from taking him down at UFC 200?
