Joe Rogan is a man that loves mixed martial arts.

The UFC color commentator who is well-versed in martial arts himself spoke with UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate during his Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Thursday.

At one point, Rogan and Tate go over the moment she put Holly Holm to sleep at UFC 196 to realize her goal of becoming a UFC champion.

“That was such a crazy moment,” Rogan said to Tate. “That was another time during the post-fight interview where I almost cried like a b*tch. I get so emotional.

“Well, it’s hard to explain to someone when you’re there and you see someone like you, who’s worked so hard for something, for so long.”

They pull up a photo of Tate celebrating her win and talk about it and then you see Rogan wiping a tear from his eye showing that even now just looking back at the moment, it still chokes him up.

It’s hard to believe that Joe Rogan has mentioned that he could part ways with the UFC in August when his contract is up. We’ll see when the time comes if Rogan will continue being directly involved in the sport that he is definitely still passionate about.
