Although the future of Conor McGregor’s fighting career is uncertain, one thing for sure is that the current UFC lightweight champion is still making headlines in the media.
Recently, “The Notorious” has had some interesting stories surrounding him. From a Bellator scuffle with a referee and Bellator staff member, rumored stories of a bar fight involving a cartel associate, to a recent courthouse appearance that had a judge livid with his tardiness, McGregor has been living up to his “Notorious” nickname.
Now, McGregor is making some noise in the fashion industry as he was in London on Monday for the annual Fashion Awards show at the Royal Albert Hall.
McGregor was seen greeting Donatella Versace on the red carpet and posed for media members along with four-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
Inside the Fashion Awards, there was a clip from Versace’s social media story where McGregor is seen standing waving his hands to the music playing while others at his table were still seated.
McGregor posted a few photos from the big night with stars including Versace, Hamilton, model and actress Jourdan Dunn, singer Rita Ora, and model Irina Shayk.
In the Royal Albert hall in awe of the positivity that surrounded the British fashion awards, it's people, and the entire show, while also thinking at the same time that if you strip away the red carpets and the diamond lights this building is littered in true battle that goes way back! You can trace this building way back to famous bare knuckle contests that shaped the entire fight game as it stands today!
UFC President Dana White stated as recently as the UFC 218 post-fight press conference that took place over the weekend that he is still unsure if McGregor will ever fight again.
“Again, like I said last week to everybody who was in my office, you know, who knows if Conor’s even going to fight again,” said White. “So, I’m rolling like – like he’s not. So, yeah, if Conor comes back and defends his title, anything is possible.”
