Cris Cyborg scored a second-round TKO victory over Lina Lansberg in the main event of last night’s UFC Fight Night 95 card in Brazil.

The win marked Cyborg’s second victory while fighting under the UFC banner, with both of those wins coming by way of technical knockout.

Long before her arrival in the UFC, fight fans have been craving a potential super-fight between Cris and former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

During her post-fight interview with FOX Sports last night, Cyborg sent the following message to Rousey (watch in the above video):

“I want Ronda to come back,” Cyborg told FOX Sports following he latest victory. “I think she should show people that even when you lose, it is not the end of the world. You cannot give up.”

She continued:

“Come back for your fans and let us make the fight for all the fans, for women’s MMA. I think everybody wants this fight and it would be amazing.”

Ronda Rousey has not competed inside of the octagon since her shocking knockout loss to Holly Holm.

Rumors have been swirling that Ronda Rousey has been offered a title fight with current UFC bantamweight title holder Amanda Nunes for UFC 207 on December 30 in Las Vegas.

A fight between Cyborg and Rousey would have to take place outside of the UFC’s bantamweight division, as it has been proven that Cris cannot make the 135-pound limit.
