Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will make her highly anticipated return to the octagon tomorrow night at UFC 207 in Las Vegas when she challenges current 135-pound title holder Amanda Nunes in the evenings main event.
Rousey, who has opted against doing any media interviews ahead of her UFC 207 title fight with Nunes, sent out the following message to her fans on social media.
“Thank you everyone who came out to support at the weigh-ins today. Looking forward to proving you all right tomorrow. It’s going to be the happiest New Year ever. #FearTheReturn #FridayDec30 #ufc207 #rouseyvsnunes”
Ronda Rousey has not stepped foot inside the octagon since losing her UFC women’s bantamweight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November of 2015 via a shocking head kick knockout.
Prior to the setback, Rousey has gone a perfect 12-0 in mixed martial arts which included eleven first-round stoppage victories.
Meanwhile, Amanda Nunes captured the UFC women’s bantamweight title this past July at UFC 200 in Las Vegas after she scored a dominant submission win over Miesha Tate.
