Fox Sports 1's Colin Cowherd slams Ronda Rousey: You can't be half in
bjpenndotcom - November 2, 2016
When Ronda Rousey makes her highly anticipated return to the Octagon on December 30th to fight Amanda Nuens for the women’s bantamweight championship, a lot of questions will be answered. By the time Nunes and Rousey take to the Octagon on December 30th, it will have been over a year since Rousey was last in the Octagon, when she dropped a horrific 2nd round KO loss to Holly Holm which saw her lose the women’s bantamweight championship. Since then, Rousey has become a fixture in Hollywood. While the initial plan for the WMMA superstar was to film three movies and then return to the Octagon, her return was consistently postponed as she continued to film movies in Hollywood, while taking care of several nagging injuries.

While some believe that after over a year away from the Octagon, Ronda Rousey will return and make a statement by defeating Nunes and capturing the women’s bantamweight champion, others believe that the fight will play out much similar to the Rousey vs. Holm fight, which saw Rousey lose the women’s bantamweight championship at UFC 193, and Nunes will knock Rousey out.

Cris Cyborg reacts to Ronda Rousey retirement talk
bjpenndotcom - November 1, 2016
Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has continued to prove herself in the UFC, as she has gone 2-0, putting on spectacular performances as she has finished both Leslie Smith, and most recently Swedish striking ace Lina Lansberg. Although she is now 2-0 inside the Octagon, both fights have been at a catchweight of 140 pounds due to the fact that the UFC doesn’t have a women’s 145 pounds division. With that being said, Cyborg has continued to call for the UFC to create a women’s featherweight division, however UFC President Dana White has remained adamant that there simply aren’t enough female fighters competing at 145 pounds, where Cyborg reigns in Invicta FC, to warrant creating an entire division in the UFC around her. Despite White’s comments, Cyborg has continued to campaign for the UFC to create a women’s featherweight division.
Internal Document Confirms Conor McGregor is the UFC's Biggest Star Ever
Tom Taylor - October 30, 2016
Contrary to UFC President Dana White’s recent claims that Ronda Rousey is “by far” a bigger star than Conor McGregor, the widespread perception seems to be that the Irishman is indeed the king of mixed martial arts, if not all of combat sports. McGregor has, after all, repeatedly demolished records in the areas of pay-per-view sales and fighter pay. He has also been tasked with headlining UFC 205, the biggest card in the organization’s history, which is a clear indication of his value.

Russell Ess - October 26, 2016

The main event of UFC 207 will feature the return of former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who has been out of competition ever since losing the belt to Holly Holm at UFC 193 back in November 2015. Rousey will be getting a chance to get the title back as she takes on the champion Amanda Nunes in a five-round title fight.
