Bellator featherweight champion Patricio Freire isn’t exactly gung-ho over PFL’s season format. Freire was invited to the final PFL event of 2023, and he had a staredown with the 2023 featherweight winner Jesus Pineda. While “Pitbull” seemed to be content with the festivities, he isn’t totally sold on what PFL founder Donn Davis is presenting. He recently had some surprising comments on how he feels about the PFL show he attended, as well as the season format.

The brother of UFC featherweight contender Ilia Topuria has scored a UFC contract. During an interview with ESPN, “El Matador” confirmed that Alexsandre Topuria is indeed a member of the UFC roster. Alexsandre has a pro record of 5-1. His lone defeat came against Ivo Ivanov back in 2015. At the age of 28, Alexsandre is hoping that he has entered the UFC at the perfect time.
Sean O’Malley says Ilia Topuria "better hope he f*cking" defeats Alex Volkanovski at UFC 298: "He's talking a lot of sh*t"

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley thinks Ilia Topuria might be biting off more than he can chew, but he still wants that fight. Topuria will be challenging Alex Volkanovski for the UFC Featherweight Championship. The title fight will be headlining UFC 298, which will emanate from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The action will take place this Saturday night.

Wanderlei Silva has responded to a challenge made by his old rival Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The feud between Silva and Jackson certainly has its place in MMA history. Back in November 2003, “The Axe Murderer” stopped Jackson via TKO. In their second encounter back in late October 2004, Silva brutally knocked “Rampage” out with knee strikes. Both fights were held under the Pride FC banner.

White has been working on the main event for the pay-per-view card in April for quite some time now, but nothing has been finalized. But, now, speaking to MMA reporter Kevin Iole, he revealed he will announce the headliner for UFC 300 at the post-fight press conference following UFC 298 on Saturday.

Sedriques Dumas was arrested on felony battery charges on Tuesday. TMZ Sports first reported the news that Dumas was arrested in Florida following a tense confrontation with police. According to Escambia County jail records, Dumas was booked on a charge of battery at around 6:13 AM.

Garry’s fight with Neal is a big chance for him to make a statement and move closer to fight the top of the heap at 170 pounds. “The Future” enters this fight as the number 10-ranked UFC welterweight, while Neal holds the number eight spot. It’s a fight with some bad blood too, as Garry once wore a t-shirt with an image of Neal’s mugshot. Somehow, Garry’s feud with online trolls seems to have overshadowed the animosity with “Handz of Steel.”
