Moicano picked up a decision win over Drew Dober in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 85 on Saturday to extend his win streak to two. Following his win, the Brazilian took to social media to claim that Dober should fight Pimblett next as he thinks it would be a good test for both of them.

For the longest time now, there has been discussion surrounding a potential 165-pound division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It seems to stem from the gap that exists between 155 and 170, aka lightweight and welterweight. There is a popular opinion out there from some fans and media members that we should see 155, 165, 175 and 185 take over as the new weight classes in the UFC.

UFC welterweight Charles Radtke isn’t likely to get paid for interviews anytime soon. Radtke was featured in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 85 this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with Gilbert Urbina inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Chuck Buffalo” landed a devastating left hook that sealed the deal near the end of the opening frame. He is now a cool 2-0 under the UFC banner. Radtke also extended his winning streak to six, and hasn’t lost a pro MMA fight since March 2021.

Aljamain Sterling feels the shackles are off now that he has moved on from the bantamweight division. Sterling had been an elite bantamweight, capturing UFC gold in the division and defeating the likes of Henry Cejudo. His run came to a halt last year when Sean O’Malley scored a TKO victory over him in the second round at UFC 292. Once it became clear that he wasn’t getting an immediate rematch, Sterling made the move to the featherweight division. He’ll be facing top contender Calvin Kattar at the historic UFC 300 event on April 13.

Themba Gorimbo believes he knows how he can get a UFC title shot before 2024 comes to a close. Gorimbo scored his second straight victory after stopping Pete Rodriguez with an overhand right. It only took Gorimbo 32 seconds to snatch his second win under the UFC banner. Not one to take the slow and steady approach, Gorimbo wants a piece of UFC hardware this year. While that may seem far-fetched given how far down the ladder Gorimbo is at welterweight, he believes there is a clear path for him to quickly slide into the 170-pound title conversation.

Nassourdine Imavov isn’t gung-ho over the idea of fighting Chris Curtis again. Imavov took center stage in the main event of UFC Vegas 85 this past Saturday. He collided with Roman Dolidze inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Despite a point deduction in round four due to an illegal soccer kick, Imavov took care of business, earning a unanimous decision victory.

Drew Dober has issued a statement after suffering a decision loss to Renato Moicano at tonight’s UFC Vegas 85 event. Dober (27-13 MMA) was returning to action this evening for the first time since scoring a first-round TKO victory over Ricky Glenn at October’s UFC Vegas 80 event. That finish had put the Denver native back into the win column, as he had previously suffered a TKO loss to Matt Frevola at UFC 288.

The Octagon returned to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 85 event, a 13-bout fight card headlined by Roman Dolidze vs. Nassourdine Imavov. The middleweight main event proved to be a hard-fought 25-minute affair. Nassourdine Imavov was able to utilize his speed and quickness to get the better of Roman Dolidze in the standup for the majority of the five-round contest. Although the Georgian fighter was able to find some success in the clinch, it was not nearly enough to earn him the victory on Saturday night. Instead, it was Imavov who walked away with a pretty clear-cut decision victory.
