Former two-time UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has placed a gigantic bet on tonight’s Super Bowl LVIII NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Plenty of diehard American football and casual fans figure to be glued to their screens for the final game of the NFL season. True fans of the game will find out if 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan earns his first Super Bowl ring as a head coach, or if the dominance of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continues. Casual fans will be hooked on the Halftime Show performance from Usher. Expect to also hear a lot about music star Taylor Swift, who is in a relationship with Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.

Ige shared the Octagon with Andre Fili in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card in Las Vegas on February 10. One solid punch to the jaw, and Fili was done. Ige landed one more punch on a floored Fili to seal the deal. “50K” lived up to his nickname, snagging a “Performance of the Night” bonus for his efforts.

Jack Hermansson has explained why he called out Nassourdine Imavov following his big win this past Saturday. In the main event of a UFC Fight Night card inside the UFC Apex, Hermansson went one-on-one with Joe Pyfer. Going into the fight, “The Joker” knew that he was being set up as a stepping stone for Pyfer, but he showed that there’s levels to the MMA game. After a shaky opening round, Hermansson was able to find his groove and had success against Joe on the feet. In the end, Hermansson won the fight via unanimous decision.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 86 event, a 14-bout fight card headlined by Joe Pyfer vs. Jack Hermansson. The middleweight main event proved to be a hard-fought back and forth affair that went the full twenty-five minutes. Joe Pyfer was able to get off to a strong start in the fight, dominating ‘The Joker’ in the opening five minutes. Round two proved to be more of the same, although Hermansson did find some offense in the late stages of the frame. After being down 2-0 after the opening ten minutes, Jack Hermansson began to take control of the fight in round three thanks to his low kicks and jab. After busting up Pyfer in rounds three and four while on the feet, Hermansson switched things up in the final five minutes. ‘The Joker’ took the fight to the floor midway through the final round and proceeded to smother ‘Bodbagz’ on the canvas on route a unanimous decision win.
