MMA veteran Wanderlei Silva has been out of action since his March 2013 KO win over Brian Stann in Saitama Japan. Silva was handed a lifetime suspension from the NSAC after evading a drug test. Silva then accused the UFC of fixing fights which subsequently resulted in them freezing his contract.

Apparently former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was given a “huge break” from Albuquerque, New Mexico police. Police clocked Jones going 75 mph in a 35 mph zone and the former champ didn’t have any proof of insurance, registration for the vehicle, or his driver’s license at the time of the stop.

MMA Fighting reports that Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva and Stefan Struve are set to go to battle against one another. Dutch heavyweight Stefan Struve is looking to get back in the winner’s bracket after winning just one of his four last bouts. Struve’s last fight was against Jared Rosholt at UFC 193 where Rosholt ended up winning a unanimous decision.

While the UFC brass wanted to see Holm vs. Rousey II at UFC 200 in July, the former champ’s filming schedule won’t give her enough time to prepare for a fight at UFC 200.
