Jason 'Mayhem' Miller arrested again, held on $1 million bail

News surfaced Wednesday afternoon that former UFC fighter Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller had been arrested on March 15th after vandalizing a tattoo shop with graffiti back in January. This isn’t Miller’s first run-in with law enforcement. Prior to this arrest, Miller engaged in a standoff with SWAT team members outside of his house in 2014. In typical ‘Mayhem’ fashion, the MMA vet live-Tweeted the situation from inside his house.
Justin Gaethje 'suspended indefinitely' after beating Brian Foster at WSOF 29

Sometimes strange things happen in the world of MMA. WSOF lightweight champion Justin Gaethje won a decisive first round TKO over his WSOF 29 opponent Brian Foster at the Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, CO on March 12th. However, Gaethje was suspended indefinitely by the Colorado State Boxing Commission for unsportsmanlike conduct, celebrating after his exciting win over Foster, according to The MMA Report.

Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier may have become friends through their analyst roles on Fox Sports 1, however the way Evans sees it, if Daniel Cormier were to lose to Jon Jones in their rematch at UFC 197, DC might have to retire. In the pair’s first meeting, Jones dominated Cormier for 5 full rounds at UFC 182 to retain his UFC light heavyweight championship. Following that fight, Jones was stripped of the light heavyweight championship following a hit-and-run incident.

Diaz is said to have come out making over a million dollars in his fight with McGregor, which Dana White says was the most bought UFC PPV event in the company’s history.

In the main event of UFC 194, Holly Holm put on one of the most spectacular performances in UFC history as she dominated Ronda Rousey en route to a 2nd round head kick KO win. In her first title defense, Holm fought Miesha Tate. Unfortunately for Holm, despite winning most of the fight, Tate pulled off a late 5th round submission to win the UFC women’s bantamweight championship. During a recent interview with Submission Radio, Holm’s head coach Mike Winkeljohn spoke about how he believes a rematch between Holm and Rousey would go, as well as how he believes a rematch between Holm and Tate would go.

At UFC 196, Conor McGregor suffered the first defeat of his UFC career at the hands of Nate Diaz, ending his 7-fight unbeaten streak inside the Octagon, as well as his 15 fight MMA win streak. After the fight McGregor was gracious in defeat, offering no excuses for why he lost, and admitting that he panicked which resulted in an inefficient use of his energy. McGregor revealed post-fight that he would be returning to featherweight to defend his championship belt at UFC 200, however the UFC has yet to announce an opponent.
