When UFC featherweight champion finally arrived at today’s UFC 202 press conference in Las Vegas it did not take long for things to get heated between himself and Team Diaz. “Mystic Mac” issued the following statement “bring the clinch, bring the jiu jitsu, bring the whole f*cking Stockton! I’m ready for whatever he (Nate) has to bring” and things quickly escalated.

Wednesday afternoon at the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference, the event was cut short after the Diaz brothers stormed the event with their entire team and began throwing water bottles at Conor McGregor. McGregor responded by grabbing various items from the stage, including Monster Energy cans, and throwing them back at the Diaz brothers while Dana White and Dave Sholler attempted to gain control of the situation.

However, the UFC veteran has already set himself up in life so that he doesn’t even have to fight in the Octagon anymore. Diaz recently stated that he could easily “make just as much money outside of the ring as in the ring.”

While Eddie Alvarez may be the UFC lightweight champion after defeating Rafael dos Anjos last month, Donald Cerrone remains the only man to defeat Alvarez inside the Octagon. When the MMA vet made his UFC debut in 2014, it was Cerrone who welcomed him to the Octagon. ‘Cowboy’ put on a spectacular showing, dominating Alvarez from bell to bell, brutalizing his legs with leg kicks until he was no longer able to stand.

At UFC 199, Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman were slated to have their highly anticipated rematch for the UFC middleweight championship. Unfortunately, with just two weeks to go until fight night, Chris Weidman was forced out of the fight with a neck injury that required surgery. Weidman was replaced by Michael Bisping, who went on to defeat Rockhold via first round KO to win the middleweight championship.

Earlier this afternoon UFC President Dana White shocked the MMA world when he gave a major update in regards to Jon Jones’ failed drug test case with the US Anti-Doping Agency. Jones was expected to fight current UFC light heavyweight champion and bitter rival Daniel Cormier in the headliner of last month’s UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, but was pulled from the card just days prior to the event after being flagged by USADA for banned substances.

Early yesterday morning, former UFC welterweight title challenger Nick Diaz was surprised with a random drug test from USADA, this after the Stockton native had apparently been “out all night” and had gone without any sleep. Obviously Nick was not to happy about the situation and thus proceeded to share his verbal argument with the USADA agent, followed by his random drug test on social media.

Lightweight #1 contender Khabib Nurmagomedov continued his streak of calling out the UFC’s best today when he simultaneously roasted UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, and UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz in one Tweet. Nurmagomedov and Alvarez have had a back and forth war of words since Alvarez won the UFC lightweight championship last month. While Nurmagomedov is the lightweight #1 contender, Alvarez has been very vocal about the fact that he doesn’t believe ‘The Eagle’ deserves a title shot.

For the first time since the UFC’s partnership with Reebok, a Georges St-Pierre ‘Fight Kit’ is on the Reebok Canada store. The product sold out extremely quick, however it is still available for viewing on the Reebok website.
