In the main event of UFC 202, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz had their highly anticipated welterweight rematch. McGregor was able to come out strong in the first round, and ultimately earn a majority decision win, with two of the judges scoring the fight 48-47.

A welterweight bout between current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and perennial lightweight contender Nate Diaz headlined tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. Round one begins and McGregor starts off with two leg kicks. Diaz misses with a head kick. Another leg kick from Conor. Diaz responds with a kick of his own. Diaz lands a stiff jab. Conor fires back with two leg kicks. Nate replies with a kick and then a shot to the body. More kicks from Diaz. Conor comes in and lands a big left. He lands a straight left and Diaz drops. Nate gets back up and eats a leg kick. Nate lands a right hand. Conor goes to the body and then lands a leg kick. Nate with a leg kick and then misses with a jab. Conor lands another hard leg kick. Diaz responds with a combination. Conor with a big shot to the body of Diaz and then he scores with another leg kick. Nate throws a slap but eats a jab. Conor fires off with another big leg kick. Nate lands a jab. He’s talking to Conor now. McGregor is circling. He comes in with a left hand. Diaz with a right and round one is in the books.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone continued his success as a welterweight at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas, scoring a second-round TKO victory over Rick Story. Cerrone landed a big head kick and then moved in for the kill with punches to put Story away. Check out the finish below:

A key welterweight bout between Rick Story and Donald Cerrone took place on tonight’s UFC 202 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Story presses forward and misses with a left hand. “Cowboy” ducks under a punch and scores a takedown. He moves quickly to half guard. Story scrambles and gets to his feet. He grabs a hold of Cerrone and presses him against the cage. Story lands a takedown. Cerrone quickly moves for a triangle choke. He almost has it but Story pulls out. Rick moves to side control. Cerrone gives up his back. Story scores with a solid knee to the body. Cerrone stands up and breaks free. Rick lands a kick and then another. Cerrone fires back with a knee and then a leg kick. Story circles and lands a kick of his own. “Cowboy” takes the center of the cage and lands a leg kick. Donald presses forward with punches and most of them land. Story circles away. Cerrone comes forward and lands another nice combo. Both men trade shots to end round one.

A welterweight scrap between Hyun Gyu Lim and Mike Perry took place on tonight’s UFC 202 main card in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Lim opens thing up with a leg kick. Perry replies with a right hand and then a leg kick. Perry comes forward and misses with a big right. Lim lands a counter right and then an uppercut. Perry ands a big right and Lim drops. Perry moves immediately to mount. He has Lim in a mounted crucifix. Big shots from the top. Lim scrambles and gets up. Perry with a leg kick and then another right hand that drops Lim. Shots from the top by Perry. Mike is working some short elbows. Lim gets up to his feet and is flattened by a left hand. This one is over!

Cody Garbrandt scored another first-round finish at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. “No Love” rocked veteran Takeya Mizugaki with a big right hand and then followed up with some thunderous ground and pound forcing the referee to step in and stop the contest.

A bantamweight scrap between Cody Garbrandt (10-0 MMA) and Takeya Mizugaki (21-10-2 MMA) served as the featured bout of the UFC 202 prelims on FS1. Round one begins and Garbrandt quickly presses forward. Mizugaki misses with a wild right but lands a leg kick. Cody replies with a leg kick of his own. Both men stand and trade punches. Cody lands a massive right hand. Mizugaki drops. Cody rushes in with more punches. This one is over!

A women’s bantamweight bout between Raquel Pennington and Elizabeth Phillips took place on tonight’s UFC 202 prelims in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Pennington takes the center of the cage. Phillips leaps in with a jab that misses. She lands a short leg kick. Raquel lands a kick to the body. Phillips pumps her jab but it doesn’t land. She lands a nice leg kick. Phillips presses forward and pushes Pennington against the cage. She works some knees from the clinch and then lands a nice elbow. Both women are landing some good strikes from the clinch position. This is a grueling battle against the cage. The women finally break and Raquel fires a jab that misses. Phillips lands a jab of her own and then a leg kick. Raquel gets inside and lands a nice knee. She drops down and picks up Phillips and slams her. Elizabeth is able to wall-walk and get back to her feet. Raquel lands a late flurry to end round one.

A lightweight bout between Artem Lobov and Chris Avila took place on tonight’s UFC 202 prelims in Las Vegas. Round one begins and Lobov presses forward with punches. He pushes Avila against the fence. The fighters break after a short moment in the clinch. A nice left hand to the body scores for Lobov. Avila lands a nice left. Two good leg kicks score for Lobov. Avila lands a leg kick. Lobov replies with a nice left hand. A big leg kick scores for Artem. He presses forward and lands back-to-back leg kicks. And another. These are hard kicks. Avila lands a jab but eats another two leg kicks. Lobov lands a nice shot to the body of Avila and then follows up with another leg kick. Chris clinches up and looks for a trip. It is not there and the fighters break. Round one comes to an end.

A women’s strawweight bout between Randa Markos and Cortney Casey kicked off the UFC 202 prelims on FS1. Round one begins and Casey lands a nice leg kick. Cortney fires off a nice combination. Randa is able to score a nice takedown and winds up in side control. Markos is landing some solid short shots from top position. Cortney is attempting to take Randa’s back. Markos scrambles but gives up her back. Casey sinks in both hooks and starts landing some big shots. Casey with two massive elbows. Randa scrambles back is still in a bad position. Casey is working for an arm-lock, but Randa breaks free and winds up on top. Cortney looks to secure an armbar. She appears to have it locked in. She does and this one is over!

Lorenz Larkin put on one of the best performances of his MMA career at tonight’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas earning a first-round TKO victory over perennial contender Neil Magny. Larkin dominated the fight by utilizing some nasty leg kicks but was also able to find a home for a brutal oblique kick on a couple of different occasions in the fight.
