Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson thinks Conor McGregor is just too small for UFC welterweight division
Russell Ess - November 22, 2016
The idea of Conor McGregor moving up to fight Tyron Woodley for the welterweight title is surely a possibility with the way “The Notorious” has been working. Despite McGregor having a 1-1 UFC record at 170, the most recent welterweight title challenger, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson feels that “The Notorious” isn’t physically big enough to compete with the UFC welterweights. McGregor has fought twice in the UFC at 170. However, both welterweight bouts were against Nate Diaz, who has spent most of his career in the UFC lightweight division.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has carved out a reputation as the guy you call when a fighter pulls out of a bout and you need somebody to replace them. Over the course of his incredible career, Cowboy has accepted a seemingly endless list of short-notice fights. He’s the UFC’s original anyone, anywhere, anytime guy. Well, you certainly don’t call UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy.
Cris Cyborg only returning to 140 for superfight
bjpenndotcom - November 22, 2016
It’s no secret that Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg is a natural featherweight fighter. With that being said, both of Cyborg’s UFC fights have been at a catchweight of 140 pounds due to the fact that she is unable to make the bantamweight limit of 135 pounds. Despite the fights taking place at 140 pounds, fight week footage of Cyborg attempting to make the brutal weight cut has revealed that just because the fight takes place at 140 pounds, doesn’t mean it’s an easy cut for the WMMA legend. In both instances, details have emerged of Cyborg cutting dangerous amounts of weight, including 10 pounds in 24 hours, as well as disturbing footage of the Invicta champ crying while attempting to cut weight.

Tom Taylor - November 22, 2016
Last Saturday, on the main card of UFC Fight Night 100, streaking welterweight Kamaru Usman dominated Warlley Alves to a lopsided, unanimous decision win. It was one of the best wins of his already impressive career. In the moments after his defeat of Alves, Usman sought to catapult himself up the welterweight rankings with a callout of the streaking Demian Maia. Unfortunately for him, Maia wasn’t particularly interested in this callout. Given that he holds the welterweight division’s number three spot, while Usman is not yet ranked, that’s not particularly surprising.
