Neil Magny fires back at Jorge Masvidal

Following Jorge Masvidal’s impressive ‘UFC Fight Night: Denver’ win over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone this past weekend, the streaking welterweight contender found himself being offered a fight against Demian Maia. Masvidal accepted the bout, and Maia was sent the potential bout. Maia turned the fight down, and fellow top ranked welterweight Neil Magny offered to step up and fight Masvidal.

Fresh off his ‘UFC Fight Night: Denver’ win over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone this past weekend, Jorge Masvidal is already being linked to other matchups. After UFC President Dana White revealed that he had offered Demian Maia a fight with Masvidal, it didn’t take long for Masvidal to reveal that Maia turned the fight down:

UFC 207, which is scheduled for December 30 in glimmering Las Vegas, Nevada, is starting to look like an excellent card. On Tuesday, it was announced that Matt Brown will take on the talented Tarec Saffiedine at the event in an awesome welterweight showdown. Now, UFC 207 has grown by two more welterweight showdowns, and from the early vantage point, both look like they’ll be extremely entertaining.

Kyle Noke Calls Out Neil Magny for Fight in Melbourne

Last November, the UFC touched down in sun-soaked Melbourne, Australia with UFC 193. The card, which would see Holly Holm upset Ronda Rousey with a second-round head-kick, entered the history books as the most attended event in UFC history with an audience of 56,000 fans. Earlier this month, news broke that the UFC would be returning to the Australian city on November 27, just over a year removed from the historic UFC 193.

Neil Magny vs. Dong Hyun Kim set for UFC 202

The event, which goes down August 20th, features a headlining bout between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz, as well as a co-main event bout between Anthony Johnson & Glover Teixeira. In addition, Carlos Condit will fight Demian Maia, and Donald Cerrone will fight Rick Story.
