Max Holloway is blazing hot on an eight-fight win streak in the UFC. The young Hawaiian is looking to up his streak to nine at UFC 199 as he is set to face Ricardo Lamas this weekend. Holloway has the third-longest winning streak among active fighters, behind Jon Jones’ 13-fight win streak and Demetrious Johnson’s 10-fight win streak, according to stats from MMA Junkie. Holloway and his eight-fight winning streak mark the first time a UFC fighter has won eight bouts in a row and has not fought for a UFC title.

Max Holloway booked for UFC 199 with plans to get a step closer to a title shot

Number-four UFC ranked featherweight Max Holloway has been booked for UFC 199 and is looking to get closer to his goal of fighting for the title. The UFC announced Holloway will meet number-five UFC ranked fighter Ricardo Lamas on June 4 at UFC 199.
