At a recent meet & greet with top ranked UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov, 3,000+ eager fans trashed a Reebok store while trying to push their way to the front of the line.
Things got so out of hand that Nurmagomedov was forced to leave the meet & greet because of the chaos that was occurring. While a brief video has emerged showing the situation, Nurmagomedov himself has now released a statement regarding the incident via Instagram.

Being aware of the fact, that many fans looking to meet me, take pictures and autograph, together with @reebok we set this meeting. But we didn’t expect that many fans to come, more than 3000 people.
Want to deliver this message to all of my fans, please keep yourself under control next time. I’m sorry that I left meeting, but situation went out of control.
