VIDEO | Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee trade trash talk in new UFC 216 promo

The next big UFC event on the horizon is UFC 216, a stacked pay-per-view highlighted by an interim lightweight title fight between Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson and “The Motown Phenom” Kevin Lee.

In advance of this stacked card, the UFC has released a new promo video for it, which features plenty of trash talk from the two dangerous lightweights. Watch it in full at the top of this post!

Tony Ferguson will enter this UFC 216 interim lightweight title fight on a fantastic, nine-fight win-streak. In his last fight, which was now almost a year ago, he outpointed former UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson in a thrilling five round fight. His next most recent win saw him defeat Lando Vannata with a D’Arce choke, while other highlights of his current streak include wins over Edson Barboza, Josh Thomson, Gleison Tibau, Abel Trujillo and Danny Castillo. He’s 22-3 overall.

Lee, meanwhile, will enter this fight with a 16-2 overall record. He’s currently on a five-fight streak. In his last fight, he picked up an impressive, though somewhat controversial submission win over Michael Chiesa. This win was preceded by stoppage defeats of Francisco Trinaldo, Magomed Mustafaev, and Jake Matthews, and a decision defeat of Efrain Escudero.

UFC 216 will also include a rescheduled flyweight title fight between dominating champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and challenger Ray Borg. This fight was originally expected to occur at UFC 215, but Borg was forced out of the contest at the last minute with an illness. If Mighty Mouse successfully defends his title against Borg, he’ll set the record for the most consecutive title defenses in UFC history.

The next biggest fight on the UFC 216 bill is a heavyweight scrap between former champion Fabricio Werdum, and brick-fisted contender Derrick Lewis.

Who do you think wins UFC 216’s Tony Ferguson vs. Kevin interim lightweight title fight?
