UFC 196

Cageside.ru caught up with Aldo and did an interview and asked the interim champ about what he thinks about the rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor set for UFC 202 on August 20.

Aldo was asked what McGregor should have been doing in the five months since being submitted by Diaz at UFC 196.

Aldo told Cageside.ru that he believes five months is not enough time for McGregor to prepare enough to beat Diaz. Aldo said that the only option Conor McGregor has to not lose against Diaz is just simply to not fight him. The interim champ commented that five months is simply not enough time to prepare.

Aldo believes McGregor will lose to Diaz again in similar fashion to their first match. The former #1 ranked pound for pound fighter praised Nate Diaz’s jiu-jitsu and said that once the fight goes to the ground again, Diaz will hand “The Notorious” another loss.
