The former UFC featherweight champion joined Ariel Helwani on yesterday’s edition of The MMA Hour where he discussed his life since the shocking defeat:
“Mentally I’m ok.” stated Aldo through a translator. “This is part of the sport. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I’ve been working out for a few weeks now and I am getting ready to go again.”
Helwani asked Aldo how many times he had watched his KO loss to McGregor, to which Jose responded:
“I didn’t watch it a lot because we saw the mistake and now we know what we have to do.”
Ariel asked Jose to elaborate on his ‘mistake’ at UFC 194 to which Aldo replied:
“Actually, I didn’t see any big mistake. I landed a punch and he landed a punch. His just landed better.”
