Former UFC featherweight and lightweight title holder Conor McGregor turned 30-years-old today and received a sweet surprise from his significant other Dee Devlin for the special occasion. Devlin, who gave birth to the Irish superstars first child Conor McGregor Jr. back in 2017, recently took to Instagram with the following post hinting at her pregnancy while wishing “The Notorious” a Happy Birthday.

Conor McGregor will receive a pretty impressive present for his 30th birthday: a massive, marble and silicone statue of himself, valued at over £50,000 (approximately $66,350). This statue, titled ATLAS, was carved by Birmingham-based, Lithuanian-born “hyperrealistic interpretative sculptor” Edgar Askelovic. Weighing in at more than 200 pounds, this statue will be displayed at London, England’s JD Malat Gallery from July 14 to September 30. It will then be gifted to McGregor, who has already accepted the gift.

When UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway was forced out of his UFC 226 co-main event title fight with Brian Ortega, the first question out of many fan’s mouths was ‘who is the UFC going to get to replace him?’ Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champ Conor McGregor seems to have a problem with that initial reaction. On Thursday evening, McGregor took to Twitter to question the fan reaction to Holloway’s withdrawal. In a Tweet that was promptly deleted, he suggested that the first concern should have been champion’s wellbeing.

According to a report from MMA Team Dagestan, a Twitter account that has produced a number of high-profile scoops in recent weeks, the hunt for UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s next opponent is down to two men. The priority, of course, is former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor. If negotiations with the Irish superstar fizzle out, however, the UFC is reportedly planning to announce a fight between Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. When Conor McGregor returns to the cage — if Conor McGregor returns to the cage — two of his best options in terms of opponents are current UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov, and former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre. Nurmagomedov and St-Pierre are two of the most dominant fighters in MMA history. St-Pierre has lost just twice in 28 fights, and avenged both of those losses in decisive fashion. Nurmagomedov, meanwhile, has never lost a fight, and currently sits at a flawless 26-0 overall.

Former UFC flyweight title challenger Ray Borg was supposed to fight Brando Moreno at UFC 223 in early April. Unfortunately, Borg was one of two fighters to be forced out of his UFC 223 bout as the result of Conor McGregor’s infamous rampage. To remind, McGregor threw a hand truck through the window a a shuttle bus carrying a number of UFC 223 fighters, injuring both Borg and Michael Chiesa with enough severity that they couldn’t fight. Chiesa sustained several facial lacerations, while Borg wound up with fragments of glass in his eye. It would be easy to understand if Ray Borg hated Conor McGregor in the wake of this ugly ordeal. Apparently, however, that’s not the case.
