UFC featherweight Arnold Allen isn’t afraid to give up on his championship goal despite his UFC 324 defeat.

Last night, Arnold Allen returned from a long injury break and attempted to build some momentum in the featherweight division. He went up against Jean Silva who, as we know, is one of the fastest-rising stars at 145 pounds. Unfortunately for ‘Almighty’, it was Silva who was ultimately able to get his hand raised and move closer to a potential title shot.

Allen, meanwhile, needs to go back to the drawing board and consider what went wrong. There’s no denying that he’s one of the division’s very best, but the window could be closing for him at featherweight. He has a great team, he has an interesting style, and he has all the potential in the world – but those things don’t always translate to success.

In a tweet after the fight, Allen had the following to say.

Allen responds to UFC 324 defeat

“Good to be back after the lay off, had fun out there against a great opponent, felt I did enough, but that’s the game, been here before. Hope you enjoyed the fight, love putting on fun fights but I’ve not give up on my goals of being champion.”
