Tyson Fury presents “sure way to be champion of the world” for Arslanbek Makhmudov in Netflix blockbuster bout

When asked if there was a certain point where things shifted from ‘The Gypsy King’ being someone who inspires him to then scouting the former lineal heavyweight champion for game plan curation from the perspective of an adversarial fighter mindset, Makhmudov said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“I think after last fight with Dave Allen, I understand like I need to go for this. Physically, I’m thirty six and I’m not young, right. I have enough experience, I have enough fights. I have. That’s why I understand this. I need to go try to fight and beat the top guys. This way is sure way to be champion of the world. Not going like wait, this always tough, you know. That’s why.”
Tyson Fury already has his next foe in mind after his big April 11th bout on Netflix
Tyson Fury is mapping out his future plans for 2026, and one of his desired adversaries this calendar year is an ex-opponent of Jake Paul.
Outlining who is in his proverbial crosshairs once the dust settles on Saturday and presuming he gets his ideal outcome over the weekend against the 36-year-old Russian pugilist, Fury stated [via Boxing News Online],
“It’s not really about a belt anymore it’s just that I want to make that Anthony Joshua fight that was supposed to have happened for the last 10 years but hasn’t. Obviously I have this big fight in front of me in [Arslanbek] Makhmudov first and then we don’t know what the third fight might be after Joshua but I’m aiming for three fights this year.”
