Recent Zuffa Boxing signee Conor Benn defeated Regis Prograis by unanimous decision last Saturday in London. It continued what’s been a stellar last six months for Benn, including a rematch win over Chris Eubank Jr. and signing a $15 million deal with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.

Jake Paul’s ongoing feud with UFC CEO Dana White reignited earlier this week when the polarizing influencer/boxer claimed that the promotion, and Mixed Martial Arts as a whole, ‘is dying’. Paul pointed to what he perceives as a lackluster UFC Freedom 250 card at the White House as a major symptom of a larger issue.

While the extent of their relationship isn’t 100% clear to some, it’s obvious to see that part of this involves Eddie wanting to get back at Dana White for signing Conor Benn.

Sebastian Fundora has no qualms with Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather 2, but he does have some questions. Fundora is in action later this week as ‘The Towering Inferno’ defends his WBC super welterweight world title against former multi-time welterweight world champ, Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman on March 28th. There is also a bit of a tie-in component as well, considering Fundora was fighting on a card with Manny Pacquiao last year. Pacquiao fought to a draw in a WBC welterweight title clash against then-champion Mario Barrios while Fundor authored a statement win in a rematch with Tim Tszyu on the July 2025 event.

Jake Paul and Most Valuable Promotions are weeks away from hosting arguably their biggest card when Ronda Rousey meets Gina Carano in the company’s first MMA main event booking. Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will also make his long-awaited return to MMA by taking on Philipe Lins in a five-round co-main event bout.

Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn’s ongoing feud with UFC CEO Dana White continued as he weighed in on Tom Aspinall’s current deal. UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall made headlines out of the Octagon when it was announced that he had added Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn to his team. Hearn will serve in an advisory role in Aspinall’s camp and could be a key presence in future negotiations with the UFC.

Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson made his remarkable return to the ring at age 58 in late 2024, losing to Jake Paul by unanimous decision. Tyson’s fight came almost 20 years after he left the sport professionally, stemming from his retirement bout against Kevin McBride in 2005.
