On Tuesday, the two faced off for the very first time at the first stop of the tour in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center. Even with their hyped up first face-to-face encounter, perhaps the most iconic image thus far surrounding the entire Mayweather vs McGregor madness was captured in Toronto for their second day of facing off with one another.

Music megastar Drake was in attendance for the second stop of the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor world tour in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday. The Candian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor appeared on stage in front of nearly 15,000 fans in attendance for the press conference to hype up the money fight between the two biggest names from boxing and mixed martial arts.

Last night, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor touched down in Toronto for the second stop of their world press tour. While many fans felt that Mayweather came out on top in the tour’s first stop in Los Angeles, the consensus seems to be that McGregor dominated his foe on the mic in Toronto. He even got the crowd of 15,000 fans to scream “fuck the Mayweathers.” Despite being the victim of what is widely considered a verbal beatdown, however, Mayweather assured the media post-fight that he’s not upset with McGregor.

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor mega money fight is set to take place on August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and ticket prices have just been announced. The two biggest draws from the sports of boxing and mixed martial arts will meet in the center of the boxing ring as the two combat sports superstars will look to put on the richest fight in history as they look to break records of Mayweather’s previous 2015 fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Conor McGregor is already one of the highest-paid stars fighting in the UFC and could potentially make more in this single boxing match against Floyd Mayweather than he has in his entire mixed martial arts career. UFC President Dana White stated early on when negotiations were still going on that he estimated with his predicted numbers on how the fight sells, “The Notorious” would likely make around $75 million and Mayweather would make over $100. McGregor believes he will make over $100 million given that White’s estimates were based on conservative numbers for how the fight sells and didn’t include endorsements and his other business ventures that are tied to the mega money boxing match.

It was entertaining affair, highlighted by some memorable trash talk and a fairly intense staredown. The staredown, of course, would have been much more enjoyable if we could have heard what the two fighters were saying to each other. It seems that the UFC still has beef with Ariel Helwani. On Tuesday, just hours prior to the start of the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor world tour press conference kicking off in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, Helwani tweeted that he was removed from working with Showtime for the event as a specific request by the UFC.

Monday afternoon, reports surfaced that undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather petitioned the US Tax Court for a 3-month agreement to pay off his 2015 taxes, asking for the IRS to allow him to pay after his August 26th scrap with Conor McGregor. Conor McGregor was quick to fire back at Mayweather over the incident, saying that Mayweather should have paid his taxes and stayed retired.
