UFC targeting Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy for historic pay-per-view card

After nearly two years since a controversial loss to Yoel Romero, UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy is being targeted to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans who will be dropping down a weight class for a middleweight bout, according to Flocombat.

According to their sources, the fight is being targeted for UFC 205, which will be at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

UFC 205 will be the first UFC event in New York since MMA was recently legalized in the state.
