Fresh off his sensational one punch knockout victory over Corey Anderson in last night’s UFC Fight Night 107 main event. Perennial light heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa issued a challenge to former boxing heavyweight champion David Haye.

“I want the winner out of DC and Rumble.” Manuwa stated. “It is time for a title shot now! I want the winner of DC and Rumble Johnson.”

He continued:

“And listen one more thing. David Haye, Let’s do this!”

UFC commentator Dan Hardy went on to ask Manuwa what he would prefer first David Haye or a UFC title shot.

“Yea 100% (I want the UFC title shot first). That is what I work for. That is what I go to training everyday for. When I first started mixed martial arts that is all I wanted was the title and that is what I am working for. I believe that is going to be my next fight!”

Jimi Manuwa has now won two fights in a row, both via knockout, as he had previously turned out the lights on Ovince Saint Preux this past October.

With that said, “The Poster Boy” has gone 3-2 in his past five contests overall, suffering knockout losses to Anthony Johnson and Alexander Gustafsson in that time.

Meanwhile, former boxing heavyweight champion David Haye is coming off a TKO loss to Tony Bellew which occurred earlier this month in London.

Prior to the setback, the 36-year-old boxer was on a three-fight win streak which included a TKO victory over Dereck Chisora that earned him the WBO International heavyweight title.

At the UFC Fight Night 107 post-fight press conference, Jimi Manuwa stated that he would like to fight David Haye on the undercard of the anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor super fight.
