“Holly’s there, she will beat Ronda Rousey if Ronda’s still champ after Holly’s been in the UFC for a couple of fights. I want a couple more tune up fights. Holly’s on the fact track working on her grappling, she’s getting very good at it, but I want the confidence for Holly to be there in every position so that she can let her hands and let her feet go without the worry of the clinching and getting tossed in different positions. There’s amazing ways to make money out there and being in the UFC is probably the best avenue to make money off sponsors and different things she can do, she’s very talented at things. The UFC is where we wanna be and the numbers have come up behind the scenes, there’s no doubt about it. We’re trying to work something out right now and I definitely see Holly signing with the UFC. World Series of Fighting has offered her more money. A lot of people have started to offer her more money, that I’ll let her manager talk about. All the numbers have, basically a little bidding war has begun and we’re quite excited about it, but we want the UFC.”

  Famed MMA Boxing coach, Jason Parillo, has embarked on his first season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter, lending a hand on Team Penn. The first episode of season 19 showcased two head coaches, Penn and Edgar, that were able to get along and be cordial to each other. This was a big change considering that in almost all of the past seasons the coaches have had “heated rivalries”. That’s not to say that these guys don’t want to get in the cage with each and do everything they can to take the other guy out, but it’s a healthy respect that is often overshadowed by the feuding, hype filled fights. That being said, when Parillo was asked if it surprised him that they got along he said, “Not at all. They never did have a personal problem.” Parillo went on to explain that he also shares the respect that Penn has for Edgar and his coaching team, “I actually always have. Mark Henry (Edgar’s boxing coach) called me up after our first fight. [He] Was the most humble, kind man I’ve met in the game. I have nothing but respect for him and his guys.”

The guys you see in this division right now, once they get hit a few times they are going to go after you. The division is wide open. I see a big opening.” In an interview with ESPN, Thiago Alves, the UFC’s former number one welterweight contender, talked about his highly anticipated return to action last Saturday Night in Orlando.
