Dana White has revealed early indications are that UFC’s debut on Paramount+ was a success. Once UFC’s broadcast deal with ESPN expired, the top MMA promotion secured a seven-year, $7.7 billion streaming deal with Paramount. The deal marked the end of the pay-per-view era for UFC. On Saturday, UFC 324 marked the promotion’s debut on Paramount+.

Dana White was asked for an update on Tom Aspinall’s eye and his response was humorous. Aspinall is the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, but he is left in limbo given the state of his eyes. Ciryl Gane accidentally poked Aspinall’s eyes during their Oct. 2025 bout and the titleholder could not continue. Since then, Aspinall has said he needed surgery on both his eyes.

Robert Whittaker isn’t as harsh on Paddy Pimblett’s UFC 324 performance as others are. Pimblett fought for an opportunity to lay claim to the interim UFC Lightweight Championship. A win for “The Baddy” would’ve set the stage for an undisputed title grudge match against Ilia Topuria. Pimblett needed to get past Justin Gaethje, but he did not succeed. Despite Pimblett’s efforts, “The Highlight” walked out of T-Mobile Arena with the interim gold.

Sean O’Malley is hoping to get a second dance with Petr Yan, this time for UFC gold. O’Malley is one step closer to returning to title contention after defeating Song Yadong on the UFC 324 card. The “Suga” show earned a unanimous decision win to snap a two-fight skid. It’s O’Malley’s first victory since March 2024.

Last night, Arnold Allen returned from a long injury break and attempted to build some momentum in the featherweight division. He went up against Jean Silva who, as we know, is one of the fastest-rising stars at 145 pounds. Unfortunately for ‘Almighty’, it was Silva who was ultimately able to get his hand raised and move closer to a potential title shot.

Last night at UFC 324, Paddy Pimblett fell short in his attempt to become the new UFC interim lightweight champion. He certainly showed a great deal of resilience, but ultimately, it didn’t matter as Justin Gaethje was able to get the better of him, sealing a unanimous decision win to claim the interim belt for the second time.

Ilia Topuria was watching the UFC 324 main event, and he was not impressed by Paddy Pimblett’s efforts. Pimblett shared the Octagon with Justin Gaethje for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship. The interim title fight was booked when Topuria went on hiatus to deal with a situation at home. While many thought it would be “The Baddy’s” night, Gaethje ended up scoring a unanimous decision victory.
