Back in March, UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos was slated to fight Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 196 for the lightweight championship.
Unfortunately with just two weeks to go until the fight, RDA broke his foot in training and was forced out of the bout. Ultimately, the UFC selected Nate Diaz as a late fill-in opponent for McGregor, and the rest is history.
Now, ahead of dos Anjos’ UFC Fight Night title defense against Eddie Alvarez, the champ revealed that he’s still unable to train fully due to the foot injury!
