“The Notorious” did just as he had set out to do when he entered the UFC by becoming the first UFC fighter to become a simultaneous champion of two divisions. McGregor put on a masterful performance against Eddie Alvarez, the man who stepped into the Octagon as the UFC lightweight champion.

McGregor tagged Alvarez with clean and precise shots that had Alvarez dropped three times in the first round.

In the second round, “The Notorious” landed a clean four-punch combination that sent Alvarez to the canvas once again where the Irishman was able to go in for the kill. The referee, “Big” John McCarthy called an end to the contest at 3:04 of the second round and McGregor was crowned the king of the UFC’s 145 and 155 weight classes.

For McGregor, the celebration surely did not end at the Madison Square Garden. The UFC’s first concurrent two-weight world champion took to the club to celebrate his historic win in a packed nightclub where he was surrounded by members of his family, team, friends, and fans.

Check out “The Notorious” cutting a little rug as he dances to the music. Interestingly with the recent elections that took place, the DJ played the track “F**k Donald Trump,” to which “The Notorious” seemed to really get a kick out of.

With the announcement that he and his girlfriend are expecting a baby early next year and demanding some equity in the UFC, it is unknown what will be next for Conor McGregor.
