Joe Rogan may not have been in attendance at UFC Denver, but he did get to watch Yair Rodriguez score a spectacular last-second knockout victory over The Korean Zombie.

The featherweight standouts, Yair Rodriguez and Chan Sung Jung, went to war in the headliner of this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 139 event in Denver.

The highly anticipated 145-pound fight exceeded expectations and served as the perfect main attraction for the promotions 25th anniversary event.

Despite not being in attendance at the historic event, UFC pay-per-view color commentator Joe Rogan witnessed all of the UFC Denver madness from the seat of his podcast chair.

When Yair Rodriquez was able to land his incredible last-second elbow, which knocked The Korean Zombie out cold, Joe Rogan was left in disbelief. Watch his live reaction at the 3:07:55 mark of the podcast below.

“Ohh! He flatlined him!” Joe Rogan yelled. “Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god that was insane. Woooow! That was insane! Oh my god. He’s still out. Look at him. Wow!”

The reaction of Joe Rogan echoed that of many fight fans, who were left speechless moments after the shocking finish.

Adding to the craziness was the fact that two of the three judges in attendance had The Korean Zombie ahead 3 rounds to 1 heading into the fifth and final round.

Following his sensational knockout win, which occured in the last second of what many consider to be the consensus “fight of the year”, Yair Rodriguez was taken to hospital for further assessment.

After being released by doctors the following day, the proud Mexican fighter proceeded to issue a lengthy post-fight statement on Instagram.

As for Joe Rogan, the longtime UFC color commentator and his family were recently forced to evacuate their home due to the devastating wildfires in California.
