Pros react to Dominick Reyes defeating Volkan Oezdemir at UFC London
A key light heavyweight scrap between former title challenger Volkan Oezdemir and undefeated contender Dominick Reyes took place on today’s UFC London main card.
Oezdemir entered tonight’s contest looking to rebound, this after suffering stoppage losses to Anthony Smith and Daniel Cormier in his most recent octagon appearances.
Meanwhile, Dominick Reyes was looking to keep his perfect record intact tonight in London. Reyes entered his contest with Volkan sporting a perfect professional record of 10-0, his latest being a unanimous decision victory over Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 229.
Tonight’s fight was a closely contested battle with both men having their moments. After fifteen minutes of back and forth action, the fight went to the judges scorecards for decision.
Dominick Reyes was ruled the winner of tonight’s contest via split-decision.
