Daniel Cormier roasts UFC 324 fighter Charles Johnson for insane haircut

Daniel Cormier could not believe what he was seeing when Charles Johnson stepped on the scale for the UFC 324 weigh-ins.
Johnson’s weight certainly wasn’t the issue, as he made the 126-pound limit for his flyweight clash against Alex Perez. Johnson’s opponent couldn’t say the same, as he was over the weight limit and has been forced to relinquish 25 percent of his fight purse.
Ultimately, more people within the MMA community might’ve been talking about Johnson’s interesting hairstyle rather than Perez’s weight miss. While Johnson has been known for keeping the top of his head bald and letting hair grow in the back, he took things to another level on weigh-in day for UFC 324.
Cormier couldn’t help but roast “InnerG” during the morning weigh-in show.
“Oh, what? He looks like George Jefferson,” Cormier said. “What was that? That was crazy, dude.”
Don’t let the appearance fool you as Johnson is a dangerous flyweight. “InnerG” holds a knockout win over the current UFC Flyweight Champion Joshua Van. He has also gone 5-1 in his last six outings.
In his last fight back in Aug. 2025, Johnson scored a second-round knockout win over Lone’er Kavanagh at UFC Shanghai. This earned Johnson a “Performance of the Night” bonus.
Johnson will be facing an opponent who has his back against the wall on Saturday. Perez went winless in 2025 and his last victory took place back in April 2024. Perez is hoping to keep his grip on the No. 11 spot on the official UFC flyweight rankings. Johnson sits at No. 13 and he could crack the top 10 with an impressive performance.
UFC 324’s headlining fight will be contested for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship. It’ll be Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje competing for the gold.
