Sean O’Malley unloads on “fake-ass” Marlon Vera following greasing accusations: “F**k that guy”

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley has unloaded on ‘fake-ass’ Marlon Vera following his greasing accusations.

It was on Saturday, March 9th at UFC 299 that Sean O’Malley (18-1 MMA) avenged his one and only loss to Marlon Vera (21-9 MMA) in his first bantamweight title defense. O’Malley kept the belt and finished ‘Chito’ by unanimous decision. The official judges’ scorecards read 50-45, 50-45, and 50-44 after their five-round contest.

Following the loss, Vera shared on ‘The MMA Hour’ that fighting O’Malley was ‘like grabbing a fish out of the water’ and accused him of putting something in his hair.

Marlon Vera also took to ‘X’ with addressing Sean O’Malley directly:

“Who braid your hair @SugaSeanMMA you where grease to the bone I wonder how much gel they use?”

Well, O’Malley is having none of it, speaking on his ‘TimboSugarShow’ podcast, the champion responded to Vera’s commentary saying:

“I don’t get the whole ‘Chito’ thing. Everyone seems to love this dude. The motherf**ker is a fake-ass b*tch. ‘Chito’ sucks. F**k him. I know sh*t that people don’t know that would change their minds on him, but I’m not going to go out there and post it.”

Continuing Sean O’Malley emphasized (h/t MMAJunkie):

“The DM sh*t was real. I was in his f**king head. I was his brain. I was thinking for him. F**k that guy. Then he comes out saying I’m greasing my hair. You didn’t even get close enough to smell my hair, let alone – what was grease in my hair going to do?”

Concluding the 29-year-old claims he’s ‘the bigger man’:

“I’m just like, ‘Be the bigger man. You don’t need to ruin his f*cking life. You already ruined his career. Just be the bigger man.”

Enough to say that Vera is in O’Malley’s rear-view mirror for now.
