Johnny Walker has spoken out after suffering a brutal knockout defeat at the hands of Jamahal Hill. Walker and Hill shared the Octagon in the main event of UFC Vegas 48. The action was held inside the UFC Apex. Things didn’t go the way Walker was hoping for.

The contest will mark the official in-ring debut of Perry since signing for BKFC, although he did manage to defeat Michael Seals in a fascinating Triad Combat affair this past November. ‘Platinum’ had ended his UFC run suffering back-to-back unanimous decision defeats to Daniel Rodriguez and Tim Means.

Former UFC title challenger Chad Mendes will make his BKFC debut at tonight’s KnuckleMania 2 event opposite Joshuah Alvarez. Mendes (18-5 MMA) has not competed in combat sports since suffering a TKO loss to Alex Volkanovski at UFC 232 in December of 2018. During his fourteen-fight UFC career, Chad Mendes accumulated a record of 9-5 which included stoppage wins over Myles Jury, Ricardo Lamas, Clay Guida, Darren Elkins and Cody McKenzie.

The Octagon returned to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 48 event, a twelve-bout fight card headlined by Johnny Walker vs. Jamahal Hill. The highly anticipated light heavyweight main event did not make it out of the first round. Johnny Walker was able to get off some good kicks in the opening moments of the fight but wound up on the receiving end of a big overhand right from Jamahal Hill which put him on queer street. After hitting the Brazilian hit the canvas, ‘Sweet Dreams’ promptly put him away with a nasty follow up right (see that here).
