Jason “Mayhem” Miller has been buzzing in the media this week. It was recently announced that “Mayhem” would be returning to fighting after a nearly four-year hiatus from the sport. However, more news involving Miller has surfaced, and it isn’t good news.

Veteran UFC featherweight Chad Mendes has been in the middle of the drama unfolding between Team Alpha Male star Urijah Faber and former teammates T.J. Dillashaw and Duane Ludwig. Mendes who is on good terms with both sides is sticking with Faber at Team Alpha Male but says that everything has been blown way out of proportion. “Money” Mendes spoke on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani recently and revealed his feelings on the drama (transcribed by MMA Fighting):

After Ronda Rousey’s devastating UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm that left the former champ with quite a few injuries there was much speculation as to whether or not Rousey would return to the Octagon. After a brief period of silence, Rousey revealed that she would be returning to the Octagon after filming several movies in Hollywood. While the UFC brass would have liked to see a Holm vs. Rousey rematch at UFC 200, due to Rousey’s film schedule that isn’t possible.

It was recently announced that MMA veteran Jason “Mayhem” Miller will be returning to fight in the cage once again. It has been nearly four years since “Mayhem” last fought an MMA bout. His unanimous decision loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146 in May of 2012 was his last appearance fighting but has been through quite a bit of trouble with the law since then.
